We are looking for an Early Career Diversity Program Manager as we accelerate our growth journey. At Brooks, we recognize that an intentional strategy focused on early career talent is key to building a diverse and sustainable global talent pipeline that will fuel our future growth and value creation.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and partnering very closely with out Talent Attraction, Talent Management and HR Business Partner teams, the Early Career Diversity Program Manager will be responsible for the design, activation, and growth of Brooks’ Global Early Career Program Strategy, including University Relations & Campus Recruiting, Strategic Partnerships, and Early Career Development Programs such as internships, global rotational programs and other non-traditional/innovative career pathways. They will leverage a deep understanding of Early Career Talent needs, generational trends, and leading early career programs best practices to reinforce Brooks’ global talent and DEI strategies and build a solid, diverse talent pipeline. A collaborative and creative team player who is adept at building strong relationships, managing global programs and navigating a dynamic, ever—changing environment will be positioned positively impact our organization in this role.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design, activation and growth of our early career programs and strategies, including branding, sourcing, onboarding, and development, in alignment with our overall talent strategies and business priorities.
- Develop and execute on-campus strategies and impactful strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions and community/industry organizations – including HBCUs, HSIs, SWE, NSBE, SHPE, etc. – in order to attract a diverse talent pool.
- Manage and grow the rotational programs on a global scale, ensuring successful sourcing, placements, development and mobilization of program participants.
- Develop and implement a structured framework of developmental activity for each program cohort, liaising with participants and host departments to ensure smooth transitions and a positive program experience. Program activities include but are not limited to mentoring, manager training, skills development, participant presentations, and other elements of engagement.
- Collaborate with other teams, functions and business leaders to integrate early-careers programs into the organization’s overall talent management and workforce planning strategy.
- Act as liaison between program participants, and program stakeholders for program-related information, guidance, and support.
- Use market insights to identify, track and analyze key performance indicators that will influence data-driven decisions to grow and continuously improve our early career programs.
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years working in university relations, early career programs, talent attraction, or related HR or DEI function in a global environment.
- Proven project and program management capabilities, including building strong relationships; collaborating across functions, geographies and cultures; and leading change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Excellent organization, planning, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with regular on-site presence in Chelmsford, MA.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time.
