Leads and administers the micro-credential program that awards badges and micro-credentials to the early childhood workforce. Promotes the program to recognize early childhood professionals for mastering specific skills and knowledge that positively influence their ability to support the growth and development of young children. Works with community partners to promote the micro-credential program. Conducts research on current and future innovative initiatives in early childhood professional development.
Minimum Base Pay: $54,399.00. All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate's education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads and monitors all phases of a project from conception to implementation and user training to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Coordinates and assists with the implementation of the program’s goals, objectives, and evaluation procedures. Recommends changes to teaching curriculum for the micro-credentialing program.

Guides, leads, reviews, verifies, observes, schedules, manages, and retains the work of people reporting directly and indirectly to you.

Conducts presentations on the micro-credentialing program. Works closely with the marketing department to promote the program.

Collaborates with community partners to promote the micro-credential program.

Conducts research, collects and enters data in existing databases or other tools used in the department.

Maintains current knowledge of field and profession. Travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings, and professional association events outside of college locations as needed.

Develops and coordinates course schedules for trainer or adjunct assignments.

Researches and recommends potential funding sources for the Institute. Coordinates and conducts development of grant proposals or funding requests for the Institute.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
-
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
-
Four years of related experience, to include supervisory experience
Knowledge of:
-
Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
-
Badging and micro-credentialing
-
Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Articulate 360
Skilled in:
-
Delivering a high level of customer service
-
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
-
Promoting cooperative behavior and team efforts
-
Fact finding, analysis, and problem solving
Ability to:

Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations, and take responsibility for a high level of service

Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:

Regular physical attendance required

Valid Florida driver’s license
