Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce, the eCommerce Manager will be a key leader of AOB’s eCommerce team. As a strategic, data-driven, and marketing technology obsessed eCommerce Manager, you are driven by the relentless pursuit of achieving aggressive growth in the areas of brand performance, acquisition, retention, and revenue optimization. Armed with consumer insights that you’ve gained from carefully selected KPIs, behavior analysis, and a deep connection with your brands’ consumers, you will lead a team of experienced eCommerce Specialists through the process of rapid experimentation and optimization to best identify strategic and impactful areas of growth. You will skillfully craft hyper-focused digital campaigns that anticipate our consumers’ needs by delivering them highly personalized and relevant content at each and every step of the customer journey. This position requires you to hit the ground sprinting and the ability to work from experience is critical.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in handling large data sets, deriving insights, and communicating those effectively to a non-technical audience.
  • Passionate about outdoor activities, hunting, and shooting products.

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Expertise in Excel, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Mastery over Google's suite of tools including Webmaster Tools, Search Console, Analytics, Adwords, Tag Manager, and Optimize.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Dreamweaver etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Self-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and multitasking skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of eCommerce professionals across multiple brands.
  • Implement acquisition and retention strategies, overseeing revenue optimization.
  • Develop data-driven reports to facilitate actionable insights for channel-specific goals.
  • Direct campaigns across various channels (display marketing, PPC, retargeting, shopping, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing) to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
  • Expert understanding and application of SEO theory, including technical SEO audits and analysis, link evaluation and attribution, and conversion rate optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in digital advertising and email marketing platforms, with a track record of successful campaign execution and customer relationship management.
  • Coordinate with eCommerce Operations Team for sales forecasting, inventory management, and improving the consumer journey.
  • Oversee budget and spend for digital marketing initiatives, and mentor junior team members.
  • Act as a project manager for brand platform projects and be accountable for brand platform goals.

  • Outdoor environment for marketing purposes

Within any of our facilities, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.

The following Personal Protective Equipment is required:

  • Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection required when on manufacturing floor

The use of additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.
