Renua Energy (NYS certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business), located near GlensFalls, NY is looking for an Electrical Vehicle Charging Station Installation Technician to work full or part time with us installing electric vehicle charging stations in the Albany-Plattsburgh corridor.

We are looking for someone with experience in basic construction: basic carpentry, basic trenching/site work (ability to operate a trencher, excavator or backhoe is preferred), and basic electrical work (running conduit and pulling wire). Also, candidate should be able to read site maps, drawings and blueprints. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations and guidelines is required. Applicant needs to be in excellent physical condition and be able to work long hours. Other construction experience is a plus.

If candidate is looking for part time only, this would potentially be acceptable. Pay rate is negotiable and depends on qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Work full time with us on a two or three man, completing the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations primarily in the Greater Capital District area (from Albany to Lake George), Warrensburgh and Plattsburgh area, and seldomly in Hudson Valley and Syracuse areas.
• Basic construction/simple carpentry experience required
• Take as-built photos and documentation
• Electrical experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic and teamwork ethos to facilitate timely and well-planned installations

Qualifications

Education: High School or Equivalent (preferred)

Experience: Basic Construction Work - 3 years (required), Electrical Experience preferred, but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Benefits: Retirement Plan with 3% match, Profit Sharing
