Responsibilities

The Electronics and Electrical Integrator will be responsible for the design, development and integration of complex electronic and electrical systems for water delivery products from initial design to final implementation. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in electronic and electrical engineering principles, as well as hands-on experience with the integration process. The successful candidate will work closely with other engineers, project managers, Zurn’s Center of Excellence and to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Work closely with engineers and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications
• Manage external teams to deliver hardware, firmware and software requirements
• Review and analyze technical designs and schematics to ensure integration is feasible
• Prepare DFMEAs and DVP&Rs to validate robust system design
• Develop integration plans and schedules, including identifying and coordinating required resources
• Design and implement electrical and electronic integration test plans and procedures
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with electronic and electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, test procedures design documents and technical roadmaps
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic and electrical system integration
• Strong knowledge of electronic and electrical engineering principles
• Familiarity with design and integration software tools such as Altium, SolidWorks Electrical, and LabVIEW
• Hands-on experience with electronic and electrical testing and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other engineers and project managers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledgeable in C, C++, Java, Linux, Android and Python preferred
• High level knowledge of electrical/electronic design and interfacing with numerous hardware components, buses and protocols preferred
• Experience with communications code over Ethernet, USB, Firewire, I2C or other interfaces preferred
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills required
• Strong verbal and visual communication skills required
