Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Palatine, IL, is hiring for a full-time, permanent Electronics Technician.

Electronics Technician – Palatine, IL

$65,000-$75,000 / Annually + Bonus

*This role requires no travel*

We are seeking an Electronics Technician based in Palatine, IL, to perform general service and technical tasks, including troubleshooting, occasionally repairing, and assisting with preventive/corrective maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or occasionally in person at the Palatine office
• Assist with preventative maintenance
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment from time to time to identify the root cause of the problem
• Responsible for troubleshooting equipment, walking customers step by step over the phone and via email before having to assess equipment physically
• Provide feedback to customers (i.e. cause of failure) to improve service awareness
• Work with the quality control manager to determine if a customer complaint investigation is necessary
• Additional projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in troubleshooting or hands-on technician-type role
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.), and PDF files.
• Strong communication skills with strong attention to detail
