4th Grade Teacher
Position Description:
The ideal candidate for 4th grade would be an energetic, creative and driven teacher, with proper certification by the Michigan Department of Education. They should be able to work in a collaborative atmosphere with teachers, parents and students. They will be able to create differentiated lessons that can reach all learners. Applicant should be competent with technology and maintain a safe learning environment for all students.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid elementary teaching certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Catechist Certified
- Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with parents
- Maintains Classroom Management
- Successful teaching experience
- Taken Protecting God’s Children workshop
- Display knowledge in the subject matter assigned and will continuously upgrade competence.
- Ability to communicate well with students, parents and staff.
All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and/or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan. All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach. All teachers who are catechist, (teachers of religion) must be certified by the Department of Evangelization, Catechists and Schools.
