Role Description
The Regional Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing the payrolls in their respective countries and payroll team located in this region.
They will also be responsible for any payroll related projects, providing timely and accurate payroll reporting and data to the business and the productivity, development, well-being and growth within their regional payroll team.
Specific Role Responsibilities
  • Direct line management responsibilities for the regional payroll team.
  • Working directly with the wider Payroll team to establish the payroll strategy
  • End-to end preparation and accurate processing of all payrolls
  • Answering payroll related employee queries
  • Manage the communication with employees and other key stakeholders to obtain relevant information and approvals required for payroll processing
  • Partner with the HR team and Finance for payroll input, review, approval etc
  • Establish end to end payroll in new locations working with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Create/update payroll processes for the team to adhere to, including, SOP’s, employee FAQ’s etc
  • Work in partnership with the HRIS and HRSS teams to ensure smooth running of payrolls
  • Responsible for producing high quality accurate data and reports in relation to the performance of the regional payrolls
  • Manage any payroll related audits, reviews and actions
  • Contribute to payroll projects or wider HR projects providing a payroll viewpoint
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all locations
Experience required
  • Experience with running Payroll processes end to end for 100+ employees
  • Sound knowledge of relevant payroll legislation
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience of Workday
  • Experience with using outsourced providers
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
  • Great team player committed to excellent customer service and exceeding delivery expectations
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Proactive self-starter with an ability to work on own without close supervision
