Emergency Vehicle Technician at Bartow Ford is responsible for diagnosing and repairing car, truck, and other transportation based vehicles. This individual will also maintain and properly service all parts and components, ensuring high levels of quality and ensuring vehicles are safe and up to the standards of the Ford Motor Company

- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Hours and schedule may vary.
Responsibilities
- Assembly and disassembly of vehicle emergency items. Installing electrical products, bolt on products, etc.
- Diagnose, repair, and benchmark transportation vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and trucks.
- Identify and repair mechanical issues such as exhaust systems, brakes, suspensions, and fuel systems.
- Maintain and service all parts and components of vehicles.
- Test and inspect vehicular repairs in adherence to safety regulations.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and tools to diagnose and repair vehicles.
- Ensure that all repairs are completed to Ford Motor Company specifications.
- Provide accurate estimates and quotations to customers.
- Consult customers in order to understand and trouble-shoot any remaining issues with their vehicle.
Requirements
- Must submit to a background check and drug test
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior experience as an automotive technician or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to follow instructions
