The Location: Asheboro is centrally located and less than an hour's drive to Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, and more. Then a little over an hour's drive to Charlotte and Raleigh. Asheboro gives that hometown feels while providing the amenities of a big city.
The Position: We're looking for an Energy Efficiency Specialist.
Requirements:
3 years of experience, a two-year degree relating to building construction, energy use, electricity/electronics, or 5 years of equivalent experience
Responsibilities:
Assists members seeking advice in planning for new or additional heating and cooling equipment.
Implements and utilizes programs to increase member participation in energy efficiency programs and the use of energy-efficient products.
Educate members on energy efficiency or answer questions on topics such as the costs of running household appliances or the selection of energy-efficient appliances.
Investigates member billing complaints for residential and commercial accounts.
