Borghi USA is hiring a full-time Engineering Technician
$15/hour or up D.O.E

Summary:
This position is responsible for interpretation of blue prints and machine set up for the manufacturing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Have a basic knowledge and experience in AUTOCAD software and product CAD drawings as applicable
2. Have strong knowledge and ability to interpret drawings, specifications, instructions produced by customers
3. Assist with the submission and documentation of the ISIR / PPAP submissions
4. Ability to communicate with customers regarding customer parts, drawings, etc and submit engineering change requests or deviations as necessary
5. Aid in the maintaining of all customer supplied documentation or those produced by the technical department.
6. Maintain and update files for records, drawings, specifications etc. as applicable to the Engineering Dept.
7. Assist with the production of ISIR sample production.
8. Assist Quality Manager if needed with customer returns, testing of parts etc.
9. Check customer drawings to ensure fabrication and proper tooling, jigs are used to enable the production of the product.
10. Before production starts, resolve any potential issues that may be encountered while in the prototype stage.
11. Converse with client's engineering staff for design issues
12. Maintain and update CAD files and systems
13. Coordinate with manufacturing the building of ISIR's
14. Assist in the development of process control techniques for manufacturing
15. Design, modify jigs, fixtures and tooling to improve quality, increase production etc.
16. Train and assist others on the reading and interpretation of blueprints, mics, gauges and DWG specs
17. Convert dwg dimensions to xyz coordinates and load data in MT4
18. Check parts using MT4 in checking of parts per customer prints
19. Draw 1:1 layout of part when necessary to check part for accuracy.
20. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
21. Helps the company meet its Quality objectives.
22. Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Microsoft Office
3. Communication skills
