POSITION: ESL Teacher

DAYS: 190 Contract Days

SALARY SCHEDULE: Placement on the District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience. Salary schedule located on www.sd25.us .

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in area of application.
Applicants must be Highly Qualified under State and Federal regulations.
The candidate needs a current Idaho Elementary or Secondary English Certification. Knowledge of how to connect ESL instructional goals to the Idaho Core Standards is required. Strong ESL teacher candidates have the ability to differentiate instruction, provide an environment that is conducive to learning, demonstrate classroom/small group management skills, build strong relationships with students and staff, and have the desire to meet the needs of all students. In addition, the ability to communicate with students, staff, and parents is essential to this position. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work creatively and collaboratively with others.

Salary Range: Placement on District teacher salary schedule based upon education and experience.
Contract Start Date: 2023-2024 Contracted District start date.
