JOB SUMMARY:
The USFHP Enrollment Coordinator provides enrollment and eligibility services for USFHP members. The functions include processing enrollments, disenrollments, and premium payments, and verifying eligibility through the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). Through various reports, the Enrollment Coordinator reconciles enrollment and premium payment information between the Department of Defense and Pacific Medical Centers systems.
Required
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- U.S. citizenship, required.
- Required to obtain ADP II security clearance. ADP II clearance is a United States government-designated level of clearance.
- Three years of health care business office experience with progressive responsibilities.
- Knowledge of USFHP program or TRICARE benefits.
- Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute.
- Proficiency with Windows, Word and Excel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS*:
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices. Strong math skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong research abilities and successful problem analysis/resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well (in both verbal and written formats) with members, staff, and providers.
- Ability to provide an excellent customer service experience and deal effectively with a diverse population.
- Demonstrated skills in successfully working with challenging customers.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to balance multiple complex demands, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Exercises resourcefulness, initiative, imagination, creativity, vision, and sound judgment in achieving assigned goals.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships and enhance cooperation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.

Salary: $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
