Evening Nurse Manager - LPN

Immanuel Campus of Care is looking for a dynamic Nurse Manager to work in our Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will have a current, unencumbered nurse license issued by the state of Arizona.

Job Functions

• Coordinate nursing activities and functions, while making rounds to maintain continuity and quality of care.
• Assists in evaluating team member performance, skills, and competency.
• Anticipate and respond to emergency situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Properly monitor the administration of resident medication and medication reorders.
• Implement resident care plans in compliance with company and federal guidelines, and physician's orders.
• Perform and supervise treatments.
• Participate in shift reports.
• Assume responsibility of staff nurse when necessary.
• Implement established nursing policies and procedures.
• Educate support staff regarding the care needs of residents.
• Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to multi-task in a high stress and fast-paced environment.
• Desire to work with geriatric population.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Leadership qualities and good communication skills.
• Ability to organize workflow, respond to emergencies, and note details.

Employment Requirements

• Vaccinated for COVID-19 (must have first dose prior to starting)
• Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
• Current TB Test (available on-site)
• Current Hands-on CPR/First Aid Certificate for Healthcare Professionals
• Valid AZ LPN License

Shift Available

Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10 pm

This is a Full-Time Exempt FLSA status position.
Salary Range: $77,000 - $81,500
