Brand New Staybridge Suites is looking for an Evening Reception Cook for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Evenings.

As the Evening Reception Cook, you will fill a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction through preparing food as instructed and ensuring all food exhibits a high quality of taste and appearance to satisfy guests in a clean and appealing environment. You will socialize with guests and serve the complimentary beverages.

Job Requirements:

• Be friendly and helpful. Be knowledgeable of the hotel facilities.
• Prepare food following food handling safety guidelines.
• Report all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• Sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for the reception.
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Report appropriate complaints or requests to appropriate department. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the state and local Health Board inspection and franchise requirements.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils and properly store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Inventory food, supplies and equipment weekly and advise supervisor of low inventory items; assist in receiving items and tracking inventory as required.
• Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress and follow company policies and procedures.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
