Our management team is expanding and we are looking for a hard-working, experienced Kitchen Manager to help us continue to be the leader in Asian cuisine. To be considered applicants must have 5-years cooking experience in a fast-paced environment with 2-years of management experience. Culinary School is preferred, but is not required to the right applicant. Catering experience is also a plus. Applicants must also have good computer skills to utilize our high-tech restaurant management software. Other qualities should include a great attitude, attention-to-detail, good communication skills, good follow-through and a commitment to quality and cleanliness.

Management Team Responsibilities include:

· Hiring, training, continuous coaching and leading of team members

· Controlling labor, food cost, and beverage cost

· Knowing and applying the Thai Bamboo policies and procedures

· Ensuring safety procedures are followed

· Knowing and applying food safety guidelines

· Focusing on guest experience, cleanliness, product quality and consistency

· Working with the management team to help continued growth

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities include:

· Complete knowledge and the ability to train each position in the kitchen

· Complete knowledge and the ability to train each dish and sub-recipe

· Ability to organize and execute events, catering orders and banquets

· Inputting inventory and understanding food cost

· Costing Recipes

· Writing clear directions and/or policies

· Scheduling team members and understanding labor cost

Salary & Benefits include:

Target work week would be 5 days a week and will include Friday, Saturday and most Sundays. Target work hours would be between 50-60 hours a week. Applicants should be able to spend extended periods of time on their feet and also be able to reach, squat down, bend over or lift up to 50 lbs. All applicants must have a current MAST card and a current food handler’s card and are preferably Serve-Safe certified.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
