Under limited direction, the Executive Director administers directives set forth by the Executive team, Board of Directors, and President of HumanGood; conducts affairs of the local Community in accordance with federal, state and local standards, laws and ordinances; manages and controls the functions of all departments of the retirement community to provide quality services within budgetary boundaries.

Typical responsibilities for this position include:
Leads planning process to develop goals for quality care, team member retention and financial performance;

Manages the day-to-day operations of the community;

Directs the hiring and training of personnel;

Prepares annual budgets for approval by senior regional management. Assists in monitoring/managing the financial condition of the Community; estimates present and future financial needs; reviews and analyzes the financial position and related matters of the Community; prepares, administers and monitors the company approved operational budget and capital budget;

Directs and guides the activities of clinical, administrative and service departments;

Implements control systems to ensure accountability of all departments;

Represents community at community meetings and promotes programs through various news media;

Monitors performance for achievement of goals and for improvement, and takes corrective action when necessary;

Responsible for census development/marketing;

Ensures all team members receive orientation and ongoing training to meet the quality goals of the organization;

Functions as a compliance liaison and ensures that Compliance Program requirements are met in the facility;

Provides leadership in all aspects of management of the Continuing Care Retirement Community, including final supervision of all Community department heads;

To be successful in this role, you would have:
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a field related to facility administration at a senior management level; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Current RCFE Certification. Must act as the licensed Administrator for Residential Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care (as applicable).

Current NHA Certification required.

Valid Driver’s License issued by the state in which the Community is located.

Bachelor’s degree required with a major in a discipline concerned with service to people such as social work, hospital administration, theology, business or public administration, gerontology, or a related field;

Master Degree highly desirable

Compensation: 140K-170K base salary + performance-based bonus
