Colby’s Dogcare & Spa offers an opportunity for you to join Washington DC's premier dog daycare & spa facility. We are dedicated to the highest quality canine care designed to promote healthy and happy pups, with an unswerving dedication to the pet parents’ convenience and emotional wellbeing. Our first location serves the Near Northeast and H Street Corridor and holds 100 pups in four play areas for daycare, sleepovers, grooming, and training.

Assistant Manager Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of three years working with dogs in a professional setting
• Working knowledge of dog behavior and group handling experience
• Great problem solver
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with human parents and understands our pups’ body language
• Have a drivers' license and possess a vehicle
• Experience as a veterinary technician is a strong plus

Salary: $21.00/hour

Colby’s is an establishment dedicated to serving both our clients and our employees. The Assistant Manager is responsible for building a fun and respectful environment while running all operations on Sundays and Mondays, as well as occasional other days, and with the intention to expanding coverage over time. The Assistant Manager must be flexible with work expectations, be reliable and punctual, and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. We will need the Assistant Manager to become an expert user of the Gingr database.
