- Request booking from carriers
- Enter booking information into system
- Issue booking to supplier
- Trouble shoot booking-related issues
- Responsible for planning, booking and assigning of outbound cargo shipped to the assigned area
- Maintain day-to-day communications with shipping lines
- Develop and maintain good cooperation with external parties
- Report activities
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- College degree is preferred
- Approx. 1-3 years of relevant work experience such as freight forwarding and export ocean booking experience
- A basic understanding of commercial and logistical concepts is a plus
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
