Main Duties & Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities

The principal duties are to be able to program and operator Tack Welding, Automatic Stake Weld, and
Planish machines.

Duties:

Cultivate a strong rapport and working relationships with key engineering and manufacturing staff and demonstrate effective cross-functional collaboration with team members.

Comprehensive technical skills to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing.

Read and comprehend fabrication drawings and welding symbols per D17.1

Weld components per fabrication drawing: Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium material with

understanding TIG techniques.

Work with welding fixtures and jibs and ensure consistent accuracy and quality.

Knowledge of visual inspection acceptance/rejection criteria

Minimum Education/ Experience:

H.S. Diploma or GED • 1-3 years of welding experience.
Experience as Manufacture Parts welding preferred
Experience with Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium materials on .010 - .063 thickness.
Ability to pass qualification test per AWS D17.1
Ability to read, write and understand English, able to read work orders or engineering drawings, able to correspond in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, etc.
Ability to use basic mathematical skills.
Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Must be able to use tools, e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.

Employee is required to stand, reach, sit, walk, stoop, use hands to finger, talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 to $29.13 hourly
