Responsibilities:
- The Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for the on-site Facilities Engineering team, including the management of operations, maintenance, financial budgeting, planning, contract and vendor management, and HR Management.
- Coordinates the Preventative Maintenance program utilization of Unifier.
- Extensive financial management, including budgeting and forecasting for the overall annual operational budget.
- Maintain high critical metric ratings, including documentation and reporting.
- Builds, implements, and sustains processes and systems. Maintains ‘best in class level of safety metrics and programs.
- Oversees all sizes of projects, from small projects to large capital projects. Performs Construction Commissioning tasks as needed, as well as construction-related oversight.
- Supports through the team all activities for Building/Code Audits, including coordination, evaluation, and follow-up.
- Will develop, implement, direct and support “best practices," Oracle policies and standards in quality management, job and site safety programs, and personnel administration.
- Promotes positive employer/employee/customer relationships and interactions. Implements employee training and skill improvement programs and provides structured employee disciplinary procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining positive customer relations from the Facility Management level up to the Senior Executive level with a strong focus on client Interface.
- Supports Oracle activities in budget preparation and vendor/contractor oversight and is responsible for helping manage cost and to identify and institute cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop, improve, and submit various professional-level written reports, surveys, and correspondence on a timely basis.
- Interacts with different organizational support elements, including Administrative, Human Resources, Financial, Quality Control, and Safety departments.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of facilities management
- BA/BS degree or equivalent. RPA/FMA, CFM a plus.
- Experience inspiring change within an organization, pushing through resistance and success in adopting new ways of working.
- Able to work unsupervised, independently and within a distributed team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
