The Service Technician will provide virtual off-site delivery inspections, showroom support, and warranty inspections for Thomasville Cabinetry sold exclusively at The Home Depot. This role will assist consumers with virtual inspections of orders following delivery and order any replacements as needed. The Service Tech will also update and manage store displays and in-store marketing and will be responsible for inspecting and ordering any warranty replacements as needed. Customer support visits will be primarily in the Phoenix metro area and will provide off-site support in remote AZ and NM territory.

Accountabilities

• Ensure all retail customers have a positive brand experience
• Provide virtual off-site inspections of all cabinets delivered to customer’s home and order replacements for any damaged product prior to installation, which will be done over the phone or video conferencing.
• Ensure all replacements are delivered and keep all parties informed
• Provide post-install inspection service and provide any necessary adjustments to cabinetry
• Ensure satisfactory resolution of warranty issues which arise in the territory
• Maintain showroom displays, literature and marketing materials in territory
• Working out of a home office, conduct phone and virtual video calls with remote customers on a daily basis

Education & Experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Cloud based software such as GoogleDrive and SmartSheet
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in video conferencing
• Strong organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable car
