Treasury Analyst

To achieve its ambitions, our client wish to hire a Treasury Analyst. The successful candidate will be from a finance background with an interest in specialising in Treasury. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join a strong Treasury team with the Operations and Finance Function.
The role will include:
▪ Understand the daily cash balance and movements across all of the firm’s accounts and ensuring full end of day cash reconciliation
▪ Payment processing across multiple accounts, currencies and transaction types
▪ Invoice flow management in terms of reconciliations, payments, and relationship management with external counterparties
▪ Day to day operational contact with Clearing Banks to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of margin to maintain open trading lines
▪ Perform bank reconciliations across the accounts under area of responsibility ensuring a ‘no non-understood’ break mindset

▪ Work with the Treasury Senior Analyst to assist with the capital allocation and usage reporting process
▪ Contribute to currency exposure balance sheet management
▪ Assist in preparing cashflow forecasts based on known and estimated revenue and expenses
▪ Update and maintain policy and procedure documents in the Treasury function at a level that fulfil both internal and external audit requirements
The Successful Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
▪ Strong academic skills from a relevant discipline – Finance & Accounting.
▪ Problem solving and a can-do attitude, coupled with a high level of resilience and tenacity.
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
▪ Share the company's values of Excellence, Curiosity and Humanity
In addition, the following would be an advantage:
▪ Experience in a globally active multinational company
▪ Prior experience in a treasury role or some exposure to this area
