Financial Analyst
Grant Thornton has experienced significant growth in recent years. We have an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our internal Finance team as a Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to grow and develop their skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
The Finance team provide support to the Partners and management across our eight offices. The individual will be part of a small close knit team who have been hugely successful in transforming the Grant Thornton finance function. The role will suit someone with strong analytical skills and advanced skills in Excel and other software.
Hybrid working is available.
Key tasks include:
- Post monthly payroll journals for multiple entities
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and reconciliation of control accounts
- Variance analysis of actuals versus budget
- Analyse costs and prepare monthly analysis reports
- Assist with yearly budgeting process
- Participating in team collaboration and finance transformation activities
Key skills:
- Experience with budgeting, work-force planning and employee cost reporting an advantage
- Keen interest in Excel and analytics
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast paced environment managing multiple tasks and timelines
- Can demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to work on their own initiative
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work / collaborate with team
- Positive energy and attitude with desire to drive change
