Overview: The financial analyst is responsible for the preparation and distribution of the company's financial reporting, as well as maintaining and operating the forecasting and budgeting models. Also responsible for interpreting financial results, researching variances and communicating significant finds to management. The role requires the abilities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work collaboratively both within the department and externally to deliver timely, accurate results. This position is full time, located in Mt. Laurel, NJ and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays with an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Responsibilities: - Prepares monthly financial reporting at company, product, channel and cost center levels comparing actual results to budget, forecast and prior year actuals. - Participates in forecasting and planning processes on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis - Maintains forecasting/budgeting model and offers suggestions for model and process improvements. - Prepares daily revenue reporting for use by Sr. Management. - Forecasts cash needs on a daily and monthly basis to parent organization. - Prepares and delivers presentations to all levels within organization. - Analyzes financial results and creates commentary explaining variances, as well as identifies trends to assist management in decision-making and risk/opportunity identification. - Maintains accurate cost center level reporting by auditing general ledger activity and working with Accounting Department to make corrections. - Uses Hyperion Planning, Oracle Financials and other software to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements. - Develops complex financial calculations to support key business initiatives, profitability modeling and ad hoc financial analysis. - Conducts industry research on competitors and creates benchmarking target and performance measurement statistics. - Implements new reporting tools and systems. - Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers with a focus on building customer loyalty through consistently accurate and timely responses. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required - Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or role similar in scope - Strong proficiency in Excel; able to create complex financial reports - Familiarity with Accounting concepts - Experience with Hyperion a plus - Knowledge of Oracle, Tableau a plus Company Overview: About our Company - Canon Financial Services, Inc.
