About the role:

In order to manage and enhance our company's financial performance and to steer our accounting operations, we are in need of a financially savvy and self-assured controller. The financial controller is responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate records, assessing and mitigating risk, maintaining regulatory compliance, preparing and releasing financial statements, supervising accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditures and revenues, forecasting, and coordinating audits.

As a financial controller, your strategic thinking and numeric prowess will help our company achieve its goals of sustained revenue and profit growth, the establishment of robust financial strategies, the establishment of reliable internal controls, and the development of comprehensive financial plans that underpin the company's overall strategic direction.

The ideal applicant will be analytically adept, problem-solving savvy, numerate, meticulously organized, and a natural leader. The successful candidate for the position of financial controller will be responsible for streamlining our accounting processes and operations, delivering financial analysis and reports, educating employees on financial matters, fostering regulatory compliance, and driving revenue growth.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Own financial reporting, revenue reporting, AR, AP and margin calculations
• Build and own collections processes
• Generate monthly and quarterly GAAP based financial reports
• Work with Sales on commissions and clawbacks
• Own reconciliation processes with channel partners and resellers
• Controlling and generating financial reports
• Taking part in budget preparation and review
• Controlling monetary dealings
• The process of streamlining accounting processes and procedures
• Planning for future economic success
• Analyzing and controlling potential dangers
• Integrating auditing efforts

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience
• Proficient in Stripe, Quickbooks, Bill.com, and an expert in Excel
• Being able to generate individualized Stripe reports is crucial
• SAAS Startup experience is preferred
• Demonstrated track record of managing financial resources
• Accredited auditing background
• Competence in analysis
