Barden are working with a financial services firm in Limerick who are looking to fill multiple roles within their growing organisation. Open to candidates with experience within Financial Services in general – analysis, administration, accounting and reporting to name just a few.

Financial Analyst

Assessment and analysis of client portfolios of new and existing clients.

Liaising with clients to deliver outstanding customer service. Ensuring their needs are met

Liaise and negotiate with customers to deliver mutually beneficial commercial arrangements on finance facilities.

Early identification of problem cases on a portfolio and working with customers to rectify.

Fund Administration

Building and maintaining relationship with the client and acting as an escalation point when Account Manager is unavailable.

Processing capital transactions over the month end period.

Updating of NAV, reporting to investors and maintaining share register.

Assisting auditors and other fund participants and advisors.

Liaising with investors in relation to anti-money laundering documentation.

Completing monthly and ad hoc reports upon request and ensuring a high level of accuracy is achieved at all times.

Fund Accounting

Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds.

Calculation and reporting of funds’ NAV’s, liaising with clients in relation to trade issues and/or corporate action issues.

Manage daily reconciliation of all cash & positions.

Responsible for accurate verification of fee accruals and performance/incentive fees in the NAV and their respective payment.

Analysing changes in funds’ values in relation to broader market fluctuations.

Financial Reporting

Contribute to identifying, researching, and communicating recent authoritative pronouncements for funds

IFRS and US GAAP experience with financial statements for funds is preferred

Qualified Accountant

Writing and/or reviewing various reports related to engagements.

Prepare adhoc reports for the client upon request.

AML/KYC

Take responsibility for timely and accurate completion of AML operations workload allocated on a daily basis.

Actively participates in AML operations review off investor documentation for all investors, including the review of investor documentation.

Ensure that all queries from internal and external parties are dealt with efficiently and professionally, with support from line management where required.

Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of AML regulation and best practice and uses this knowledge to promote enhancements
