Job description
This position, part of the Travel team within the Finance & Accounting Division, assists departments and travelers in the UF GO Travel and Pcard System. The incumbent provides exceptional customer support for all stages of travel, including travel requests, expense reports, and employee reimbursements to ensure compliance with federal, sponsor, State of Florida, and university policies.
The successful incumbent will provide exceptional customer service using the ticketing system (Salesforce) and resolve inquiries for travelers, department users, and other customers. They will identify issues and research appropriate solutions in compliance with UF, federal and state policies. They will also resolve increasingly complex travel questions and discrepancies with minimal supervision, using experience and judgement to escalate issues to management when necessary.
The incumbent will perform transaction reviews and ensure audit rules and reports are appropriately identifying issues of non-compliance. They will resolve exceptions in travel audits and employee reimbursement issues and work closely with the Pcard Team to resolve issues with expense report auditing. This position provides travel and expense system and policy training to all levels of users and updates related content as needed or directed by supervisor.
Monitors the overall travel program and makes recommendations for improvements to training and University communications. Evaluates the day to day operations, provides feedback to management on current business processes and recommends actions to streamline processes or improve operational efficiencies.
Performs a variety of special projects as assigned or as needed to support Disbursement Services, Finance & Accounting, the CFO Division or other stakeholders.
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour; commensurate with education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience.
- This position must be proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with University of Florida operations is preferred.
