Job description

Oahu Tree Works, LLC offers tree pruning, removal and coconut trimming throughout the island of Oahu. Owned and operated by certified Arborist Jon Perry.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to repair and maintain small engine equipment ie; chainsaws, hedge trimmers, weed eaters etc
• Performs oil changes when necessary
• Lubricates chassis, trans, wheel hubs, rear axles, and 5th wheels
• Checks the batteries on tractor and trailers
• Checks and replaces belts as necessary
• Checks and replaces wheel bearings as necessary
• Checks and replaces clutches as necessary
• Checks for electrical problems
• Maintains anti-freeze as needed
• Ability to independently repair and overhaul a variety of gasoline, diesel and alternative fuel vehicles and equipment that are part of the Oahu Tree Works fleet.
• You are responsible for monitoring instructions and correspondence from this office by checking your email account in a timely manner

Qualifications

• At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment
• Must have valid Hawaii license
• Knowledge of high pressure air systems, screw compressors and boosters is a plus
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (extended hours as required)
• Must have basic set of tools
• Class A CDL a plus
• Current, valid Class-A CDL license and able to be DOT certifiable preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
