Seasonal- Sport Floor Technician, Central Indiana

Job Description

Looking for entry level talent interested in upcoming summer work. No previous skills required. All that is needed is to be able bodied, willing to cooperate as a team, and a healthy work ethic. Starting at $15/hr with pay increases for any particular aptitude or ableness to be a crew leader.

A&H Athletic Floor Services is a company specializing in maintaining and refinishing athletic hardwood flooring. We travel all around the state of Indiana working in various sports facilities. Prep and recoat, sand and refinish, as well as graphics and painting are all a part of what we do.

A large part of our yearly work is seasonal and takes place during the summer months and over holidays. As such we are looking for new seasonal help. Perfect for graduating high school seniors or college students.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work together with a team to perform all needed tasks to execute the daily jobs.
• Being punctual and ready to jump into tasks as needed.
• A willingness and desire to learn a new skill and take direction.
• Loading and moving the heavy equipment and products needed for each day.
• Driving a company vehicle to and from each job site.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Be on time daily, this is first for a reason!
• No previous experience required
• The ability to communicate and ask for direction
• Teamwork is key, the ability to work together with your crew
• Able to lift at least 50lb
• The focus needed to stay on task all day
• A driver”s license - optional but highly desired

Timeline

Starting the beginning of summer, as early as the last week of May. Position to extend through the summer; June, July, and into August. While this work is seasonal, future work can be counted on if the hiree is able and willing. There is always extra work during Fall, Winter and Spring breaks.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
