Botanica is a home interior boutique specializing in custom floral designs, In-Home design service, home accessories, and everything beautiful for your home.

Join our team and be a special part of merchandising our showroom for each season and into a beautifully magical winter wonderland for the holidays. Assist customers shopping for home accessories, wreaths, & custom florals. Install upscale custom home decor for everyday and the holidays. Partner along side of our award winning design team creating modern organic floral designs in fresh, silk, dried, and preserved florals. During the holidays assist in creating 10 themed holiday interior displays and trees. Design life like organic holiday florals with selections provided by our design and sales teams.

Please understand, as this sounds like a great opportunity and lots of fun. We work extremely hard on our feet all day. The pace is fast, timed deadlines are daily and can be stressful, we get dirty, are on our feet all day, and our nails are far from a perfect manicure. This position requires a very deicated person that is not afraid of work. Please do not apply if this in not you. :)

Our candidate would spend their day:

• Creating custom garlands, wreaths, and designs for clients.
• Creating floral designs for the showroom to coordinate with displays.
• Be part of our client in-home decorating team.
• Assisting customers with selections for their home.
• Organizing custom and customer pick up area.
• Keeping showroom in a beautiful and pristine condition throughout the day.
• Packing client selections for design team
• Assisting designers with needed projects
• Processing fresh flowers, cleaning cooler, and over seeing all fresh flower needs.
• Taking care of client situations
• Answering phones
• Opening and Closing procedures
• Handle anything else that arises each day.
• Cleaning, organizing, & daily upkeep of workspace, stem aisle, & backroom.
• Pricing new inventory
• Friendly and professional appearance

Our Candidates abilities:

• Be able to handle difficult customers in a professional manner
• Have patience and work well with people
• Can handle stressful situations and deadlines
• Produce a positive and pleasant personality
• Work evenings and weekends.
• Saturdays are a must, selected Sundays in November & December.
• Work 2pm - 8:30pm the Third Tuesday of some months when classes are in session.
• Able to multitask
• Be organized
• Work, stand, and be on your feet all day.
• Comfortable on a ladder
• Can lift, twist, bend
• Can lift up to 40lbs
• Have the mindset of, I can do what needs to be completed.
• Be a team player with a can do attitude
• Be able to work at a Cell Phone Free Environment - this is a must. If you are on your phone all day, this position is not for you.
• Floral Design experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
• Experienced Floral Designers will be expected to learn and create Botanica's Signature Style of Design for all designs. All designers must be committed to produce natural organic designs with-in our clients expectations & our signature style.
• Work late and stay until all daily expectations are completed.
• Be willing to get your hands dirty and work hard.
• Stay calm under a stressful deadline and environment.
• On occasion you will be required to work late until all event work is completed.

All Candidates will be required to design an audition piece during interview.

Portfolio Submissions are welcome.

Hours are flexible to your schedule with exceptions of Saturdays (9:30am - 4:30pm)

Must be available 3 Saturdays a month.

• Hours will vary with client appointments, daily schedules, events, & holidays.
• Summer - May, June, July, & August 2-3 days a week
• September & October 3-4 days a week
• November and December up to 5 days a week
• January, February, March, & April - 2 days a week

Store Hours. M-F 10 -5 Sat 10 -4 Sun 12 - 4 (Nov & Dec)

Holiday Hours November and December

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10 - 6

Tuesday & Thursday 10 - 8

Saturday 10 - 4

Sunday 12 - 4

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
