Job Title: FMS Engineering Management Support

Job Description:

This is a full time position at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The chosen candidate will translate FMS user requirements into system requirements which will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

• assist in performing technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.
• assist in drafting regulatory and statutory documentation to include, but not limited to the SEP and life cycle management plan.
• assist with processes for drafting project documentation including, SOOs and SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentations.
• assist in supporting and conducting engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/ schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies
• assist in the evaluation of systems test plans (such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans) and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing

Required Skills/Education:

• Ten (10) years' experience in functional area and possess a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to functional area; or a relevant Master's degree and eight (8) years' experience in functional area; or twenty (16) years in functional area without a degree. At least eight (8) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.
