Unlike a lot of other Hotels in the industry you do necessarily require a third level qualification to apply for this role all you need is the right attitude and a willingness to work hard and learn as part of our team

This is what we will do for you

· We will develop you in the financial side of the hotel business

· You will have full access to our daily sales, weekly reports, monthly profit and loss reports our sales forecasts and be trained up on how to complete and understand all of the above

· You will be part of the Green Team at Hotel Woodstock and gain a full understanding of energy costs and how to control the same in an efficient manner and have projects to complete in this area

· Be trained up on our wage management system Timepoint and how to work it and forecast approve and manage the payroll for your area.

· Be trained on Procure wizard and understand how to use our purchasing system

· Be trained in how to carry out our food and beverage stocks to read these reports and implement the necessary actions to keep them on budget

· Be trained in menu engineering, menu planning, food and beverage waste policies

· Be part of our sales initiatives team to initiate sales leads and follow up on the same or pass them to the sales department

· Be part of our HACCP team in the Hotel.

· Be part of our Duty Management team and be trained how to open up and close the Hotel as part of the early and later duty management procedures

· Be fully trained in our cashing up procedures

· Have full access to our Hotel Library to develop your skills in business management and leadership

· Qualify for staff and friends and family rates in our sister Hotels in Ireland and also the Choice Hotel Group worldwide currently has more than 8,000 Hotels worldwide and in excess of 90,000 bedrooms

· Have the opportunity to win incentives in your area if your targets are hit on a monthly and quarterly basis with customer reviews, sales projects, staff referrals, upselling,

· Attend our IHF training and development programmes in association with skillnets each autumn winter

· Have full access to over 100 podcasts covering all aspects of Hospitality and training that will help you move up the ladder and having the opportunity to implement the learnings from these podcasts at Hotel Woodstock.

· Be fully trained on our food and beverage control system Aloha and understand how to run reports from this system

· Attend our weekly Management meetings

· As part of your package you will have 20 days holidays per Anum and 9 bank holidays and have access to our sick pay scheme

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year

Experience:
