SWE Homes, LP is a Real Estate and Investment Company with a 38-year record of success in our industry. We invest in residential and commercial real estate in a large volume throughout Texas and other states. We are currently seeking to hire a Foreclosure Specialist to add to our team.

The Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for all stages of the foreclosure process. This role monitors and manages the foreclosure processes for both non-judicial and judicial actions for a portfolio of loans in multiple states. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate the handoff of delinquent loans from the Collections Department
• Verify demand letters have expired, no payments have been made, and that legal requirements for the FC process have been met
• Pull and review title records and resolve issues
• Prepare foreclosure documents and follow up to confirm timelines are met
• Ensure all aspects of the foreclosure cases meet federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct review of litigated and contested matters to ensure timeframes are met
• Prepare Trustee’s Deeds for properties foreclosed
• Update the system to reflect appropriate status and current comments

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years previous Foreclosures Experience coupled with some college and experience in real estate, Loan Servicing, and/or title
• Knowledge of title commitments and general knowledge of mortgage loan documents
• Ability to prepare documents with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Excellent internet research skills, ability to type 50+ wpm, ability to demonstrate solid skills with MS applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; Mac use is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with persons of diverse social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain organized
