In this role you will provide full-spectrum Foreign Military Sales Acquisition Logistics Analyst support to a DoD customer at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama.

Essential Job Functions:
Analyzes program requirements, project status, and schedules.

Coordinates actions and serves as the logistics liaison to the FMS team to ensure actions are tracked and on schedule.

Establishes new processes and ensures current ones are followed.

Collects, completes, organizes, analyzes, and interprets technical logistics data and financial information relating to acquisition and product programs while ensuring compliance with applicable acquisition programmatic and financial DoD policies, procedures, and practices

Plans and facilitates meetings and working groups.

Assists with planning, organization, and control of FMS case requirements, as well as future sustainment support.

Develops plans, including schedules, and monitors essential FMS case milestones and tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program(s).

Conducts research and performs program evaluations affecting the development of long-range program plans.

Identifies problems and issues that require further study or remedial action based on the results of various analyses.

Provides and updates briefing documentation for, and attends meetings associated with all acquisition aspects of products to include such meetings as IPTs; reviews leading to and including Milestone Decisions; product/ contractor reviews; Weapon System Reviews (WSRs); POM reviews; and budget reviews.

Creates, reviews, and provides recommendations for acquisition logistics programs, including participating in the development of program objectives, integrated master schedules, budget requests, strategies, program documentation, program briefings, business case analysis, acquisition planning, policy implementation and achievement of milestone objectives for products.

Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of program/product management and logistics experience with DoD acquisition programs.

Must possess a Secret Clearance.

Must have experience working with the Defense Acquisition Process as well as knowledge of Security Cooperation/Assistance programs and procedures, to include the processing and development of Letters of Request (LOR), Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), Pricing and Availability (P&A), and case amendments and modifications.

Experience working with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Arms Control Export Act, and Foreign Assistance Act desired.

Must have knowledge of the DoDI 5000.02 and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for the development of contracts and contract modifications required for the acquisition of logistics supportability products.

Must have experience with developing, reviewing, and giving presentations/briefings to senior management.

Experience supporting Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and documentation through coordination with Functional Directors and IPTs and tracking until closure of action.

Demonstrated knowledge of Army policy and documentation related to life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
