Job Description: Drywall Finisher

We are specifically looking for individuals who have knowledge and experience in drywall finisher. As a drywall finisher you may work alone or as a team finishing assigned projects. The job is physically demanding – you will be on your feet all shift. Safety is the top priority. Drywall Finishers are trained to work safely and use equipment such as masks and safety goggles to protect themselves from dust.

Responsibilities:

• Selecting, measuring and marking materials for drywall finishing.
• Cutting and shaping materials and joining them with nails, screws, bolts or glue.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Positioning and securing drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs
• Cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Filling joints, holes and cracks with compound using a trowel and broad knife
• Smoothing out excess compound and sanding over dry compound

Requirements:

Ability to pass a Pre-employment drug screen.

Reliable transportation to and from work every day.

Clean criminal background.

Ability to work with alone as well as with a team.

Knowledge about Power tools

Pay:

Compensation is determined per individual depending on experience. Starting at $16-18.00 Depending on Experience. Hours: (Full time 40-48hrs per week.)

Monday- Friday

6:00am- 2:30pm OR 4:30 depending on job load

Overtime: Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm OR depending on job load. (If posted on Wednesdays over time is mandatory)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• On call
