Earn $20 + per hour as a Front Desk/Ticket Agent at the Thousand Hills Resort Hotel

Description:

To deliver friendly, professional service, ensuring guest satisfaction when checking guests in and out of the hotel.

Essential Functions:

• Register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
• Sell and book show and attraction tickets for guests pre-arrival and on-property. * EARN EXTRA MONEY IN COMMISSIONS! *
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of the room types, rates, packages, and booking procedures.
• Notify housekeeping of all late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the Front Desk area and lobby.
• Report all incidents of guest dissatisfaction to the front desk supervisor
• Prepare key packets and registration cards and include all materials to be distributed at check-in.
• Assist guests with the highest level of professionalism possible.
• File room keys.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of all office machines, computers, fax machines, etc.
• Will perform other duties as required

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the audience's needs.
• Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
• Customer and Personal Service - A strong desire to accommodate guests' needs.

Requirements

• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work various shifts, days, nights, and weekends as scheduled by the supervisor
• Must have reliable transportation
