Principal Accountabilities
Completing pre-operation and work alongside USDA
Monitoring of product temperature, weight checks, seal checks, label verification and packaging
HACCP monitoring of all products
Cook attributes
Performing sensory evaluations of product
Test and hold procedures
Hold and release procedures
Entering data into a computer
Preventative maintenance on FSQR equipment
May teach, train, or coach others on work activities, methods and procedures
Ensuring all stakeholders follow GMPs, good housekeeping and maintain plant policies
Maintaining a safe working environment
Champion of personal safety and food safety
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a warm or cool environment, as well as slippery surfaces at varied heights
Standing for long periods of time, the use of stairs and ladders, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States
Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 60 lbs
Ability to work in cold environment, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 6-7 days per week
Basic use of a computer
Basic math skills
Ability to climb ladders and stand/walk for long period of time

Preferred Qualifications
2 years’ experience in manufacturing or other high paced environments
Previous food safety or quality experience
Bilingual
