Full Case/ Shipping SUPERVISOR

3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am

The Full Case/ Shipping Supervisor will have a diverse skillset; managing order allocation, partnering with operations to set daily priority flow of the distribution center, lead facility customer service response and supervise a team of 10-15 Full Case associates.

• Supervise team of full case associates on reporting, administration of order allocations, wave prioritization and customer service
• Coordinate with leaders to develop accurate priority plans on a daily/weekly/monthly scope of understanding
• Participate on cross-functional teams to successfully build strong processes and oversight of clerk functions
• Analyze, triage, expedite, pending orders to respond to changing demands from customers
• Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the Warehouse Management System and process for customer relations
• Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the daily success of warehouse operations
• Develop initiatives to maximize operational efficiency within the warehouse
• Develop, write, and maintain policies and procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency in areas of system use, inventory management, order processing, & wave planning
• Expert level use of JANUS systems and ability to effectively instruct growing team to high levels of proficiency
• Communicate operations performance in daily reports and cross-functional meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Warehouse Management or related field preferred
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in order management, customer relations, operations
• Develop analytical processes and tracking methods
• High analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Work effectively with people at all levels
• Apply experience and knowledge to provide creative solutions to problems
• Understand customer relations and etiquette when working with customers
• Work under pressure and with deadlines, able to work with multiples priorities is a must
• Interpersonal skills, team-player, but able to work independently and with minimum guidance, if necessary
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, AS-400 WMS systems
• Committed to continuous improvement
• High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external clients
• Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained
• Product knowledge with clear technical understanding of services to be able to effectively communicate to customer
• Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines
• Outstanding attention to detail, flexibility and creativity
• Persistence coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of shared information and/or assignments
