Full-Stack Engineer

The Full-Stack Engineer will enable customer success by executing design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise software solutions from front-end to back end and including infrastructure dependencies. The Full-Stack Engineer will report to the Director of Product Engineering and will collaborate closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, Business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SME’s) to execute the design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, and implementation of the electronic wallet payment solution.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components for our banking and electronic wallet payment solutions, working on frontend, backend, and other tasks to tackle problems and driver user experience both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams involving sales, support, and marketing to define, design, new features, and enhancements.
• Streamline the CI/CD process in collaboration with the development team to enable efficient and reliable code deployment.
• Develop and maintain our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring a seamless and efficient deployment process.
• Automate our infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Maintain the production environment, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and other operational issues.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, providing support for production incidents and ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in the Root Cause Analysis process.
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design to ensure the highest quality products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience in software development and DevOps.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with electronic wallet payment solutions or digital banking systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software security, encryption, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members at various levels of expertise.
• Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
• Proven experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Substantial experience working with containers and K8s, including Helm.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DynaTrace, DataDog) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of network protocols.
