_The Community Church of Sebastopol is offering a custodial position in a nurturing, wholesome environment. Come join our stable team provide excellent facilities to the wider community.
Essential Duties:_

• Thoroughly clean, disinfect, deodorize, and otherwise service restrooms and kitchens.
• Clean floors - sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, remove stains, strip, seal, finish, and polish.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, walls, and doors. Remove cobwebs.
• Maintain clean and safe walkways, including collecting litter from outdoor areas.
• Monitor building security by checking for unlocked doors/windows.
• Interface with all visitors to the facility, providing hospitality and diplomatic problem- solving.
• Notify Congregational Administrator of needed janitorial supplies.
• Maintain clean and well-stocked storage areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs in and around facility.
• Provide room set up and clean up for church programs and outside events.
• Follow safety regulations, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ask for help, communicating limitations, and requesting proper supplies and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• Must undergo background check with LiveScan fingerprinting. AB506 restricts churches from hiring anyone with a felony assault.
• At least 2 years working in custodial or maintenance services for a multi--use facility.
• Communicates well, including ability to read and write English.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
