Job description

The tutor will be responsible for tutoring 1:1 and small groups for students who each have their own programmed curriculum. The teacher will follow the student's program, grade student work, give instruction, help the student learn. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching more than 2 students at a time, will have strong handle on English (reading and grammar) and know math up to Algebra 2. We provide all books and resources for teachers to use. We also have a computer program to help keep track of student progress and program. Your job is ensure the students are learning and growing in confidence!

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong Math and/or Verbal skills.
• Ability to work with students K-12.
• Enjoys working with students--encouraging.
• Teachers with Teaching certification are encouraged to apply. Non-certified individuals may qualify with proof of skill and after successful completion of training.

Center tutoring hours are:

• Monday - Thursday 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
• Friday 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
• Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Huntington Learning Center in Cedar Park, TX is looking for teachers/tutors to join our team. With over 40 years of experience, we are an accredited learning center offering a range of tutoring and test-prep services. You work directly with the students, 1:1 or in small groups, using your skills and experience as a teacher to help students achieve their goals. Our teachers instruct on an individualized basis, thereby helping students achieve tremendous progress in a relatively short period of time. Guaranteed hours are dependent on skill and experience level.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
