Warehouse Relief Position; SWING SHIFT either Four 10Hr Shifts or Five 8Hr Shifts.

Overview:
Clover Farms Dairy has been in business for over 80 years bringing fresh pasteurized milk from Pennsylvania dairy farms to our local community! We are looking for a motivated warehouse relief personnel to pick orders and load trucks in order to fulfill orders for customers.

Primary Responsibility:

THIS IS A SWING SHIFT POSITION; YOU WILL GET YOUR SCHEDULE APPROXIMATELY FOUR WEEKS IN ADVANCE. The typical day for our warehouse relief personnel is either a 10-hour shift or an 8-hour shift in a cold room environment (38F - 42F) covering for one of the three types of positions in the cold room warehouse. You will be covering either an Inventory/Line Puller position, an Order Picker position, or a Truck Loader position. You are guaranteed 40 hours of work if there is no one on vacation to cover, your supervisor will assign you a position for the week depending on workload.

Essential Functions:

Inventory/Line Puller: Ensure inventory is organized properly and maintain a FIFO method of product storage. Ability to physically push/pull and move stacks of product. Must be able to walk and stand for a 10-hour shift. Use a digital inventory system to count product units and key in entries on a tablet. Must have use of both hands and be able to grasp with fingers. Ability to count and do basic mathematics.

Order Picker: Pick orders based on the load sheet sent down from the order entry clerks. Ability to physical move cases and units of product. Stage product orders in front of dock doors to be checked and loaded by Truck Loaders. Ability to stand/walk for 10-hour shift. Ability to count and do basic mathematics.

Truck Loader: Check the work of the picker to make sure orders are fulfilled correctly. Usually working in a pair or with a three-person crew to load tractor trailers and straight trucks throughout the shift. Operate a hydraulic pusher, motorized standing tow motor, high reach, and/or forklift to load pallets of product onto trucks. (Will be trained on-site to use equipment properly and safely.) Ability to physically push/pull and move stacks of product. Must be able to walk and stand for a 10-hour shift. Able to work with a team to coordinate loading of orders throughout the day. Ability to count and do basic mathematics.

• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean; neat, and orderly work area; ensure all security policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure proper food safety practices are maintained.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HS Diploma, Preferred
• 2+ years warehouse experience, Preferred.
• Must have at least two years of experience in operating a forklift.
• Prefer experience in shipping/receiving duties including, loading/unloading trucks, and checking and verifying shipment.
• Must be flexible to work overtime.
