Job Objective/Summary: The General Manager oversees the operations of one of Rockit's branch office locations and reports progress and results to their Regional Vice President. They have direct responsibility for revenue and achieving branch goals. The General Manager provides oversight for all interviewing, hiring, and training of branch employees within. In addition, they are responsible for performance appraisals for their employees, and rewarding and disciplining of employees. General Managers are required to provide leadership and set an example to employees within their branch ensuring that all company business is conducted in an ethical and moral fashion.

• Adhere to, and be a promoter of and enforce all company policies and procedures with all employees.
• Work closely with Regional VP, Branch Manager and Technical Department to assess branch training needs and identify employees for future growth within the company.
• Maintain verifiable training records for all branch employees.
• Evaluate branch routing procedures to improve productivity and efficiency on all service routes.
• Conduct ride alongs with service technicians and sales reps to emphasize proper pest control techniques and identification of sales opportunities (i.e. up selling).
• Knowledge of Pest Control Operations and ability to successfully pass all necessary continued education courses and annual re-certifications.
• Assure that all customers within the branch’s territory receive the highest quality of service through conducting audits on commercial and residential customers.
• Actively participate in large jobs, problem accounts and assist the sales department when needed.
• Administer and promote Rockit's safety procedures in the field and evaluate any incidents or accidents accordingly. General Managers will have responsibility for on the job safety results which include, but are not limited to, the following areas: Auto, Worker’s Compensation and Liability.
• Inspect and maintain all pest control equipment and vehicles within the branch.
• Oversee ordering of pesticides for the branch with the goal of providing efficiency of pesticide use in order to reduce overuse. In addition, maintain and assure that all service vehicles are equipped with MSDS sheets and labels for any materials that may be used during service by our technicians.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and completing continuing education courses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
