In this role, you will own the strategy and implementation of a global Data Subject Rights program & consent management program within the Data Governance team at The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC). Through a strong partnership with the Privacy Office (Legal), Technology Services and Legal Services, the role will ensure a centralized, standardized, and efficient method for processing Data Subject Access Rights requests across the world that ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role will also manage the consent management program including configuration of cookie banner & preference centre.
The Global Data Governance Lead - Individual Rights ensures the operation of efficient and effective processes to enable compliance with global regulations, through problem solving across people, process and technology challenges.
This role is integral to the company's privacy program and responsible for determining how to meet new and changing business needs for the privacy pillar of individual’s rights.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Ownership and stewardship of the TCCC Global DSR program including the design and documentation of the strategy and delivery of implementation
- Product owner of Data Subject Rights & Cookie Consent module in TCCC’s OneTrust environment
- Provide technical global support for Data Subject Request through configuration of process workflows and webforms
- Provide technical global support for cookie & preference management including configuration - scripts; geolocation rules; templates; categorization)
- Develop and maintain documentation of all processes.
- Govern cookie banner lifecycle & user access to consent module.
- Partner with Privacy Office (Legal) to ensure minimally compliant processes are in place across all TCC markets for Data Subject Rights (DSR)
- Prioritize TCCC markets for onboarding of local DSR processes to OneTrust for request automation
- Manage Project controls including scope, resources, tasks, and timeline while periodically reporting status to Executive Sponsor.
- Serve as the liaison between the business stakeholders and technical teams
- Continuously assess and prioritize TCCC markets for DSR process automation opportunities (i.e. information request, update requests, erasure requests, etc.)
- Partner with Privacy Office (Legal) to develop a process for monitoring the evolution of data subject rights & consent management requirements in all TCCC markets across the world and adapt internal processes accordingly
- Ensure the availability of timely and accurate metrics that communicate the level of quality of the TCCC Global DSR program, including cost to serve and SLA compliance processes accordingly
- Leverage strong privacy and data governance background to help solve TCCC privacy process opportunities by partnering with geographically cross-functional teams and data sources
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with TCCC and third-party vendor stakeholders to problem solve and enhance tools or processes.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and/or relevant experience, Master's degree is a plus
- System configuration and administration activities (business analyst technical level, not developer)
- Hands on collaboration experience with third-party vendors implementing privacy technology solutions, OneTrust strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of global data subject rights regulations
- Strong knowledge of global data subject rights process implementation best practices
