As an ambassador of faith in Christ and rooted in Biblical principles, the Global Security Associate will actively minister to East-West leadership, staff, partners, and the community in a manner that exhibits Christlike character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.

The Global Security Associate is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day protective security operations (both foreign and domestic) and mitigating threats to East-West personnel, ministry, and assets. These duties include working on security-related projects, developing security policies and practices, assisting personnel with domestic and international assignments, leading training programs, assisting the crisis management team.

This is a fully support-raised position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and disseminate OSINT information
• Monitor and daily input of global ops (Check-ins, Travel registrations, Training files, etc.)
• Assist Crisis Management Team
• Raise and maintain a network of personal and ministry support
• Lead, attend, and/or contribute to East-West sponsored spiritual formation activities such as Abide, ReGathering, Chapel, prayer times, corporate devotionals, and perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Skills

• Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Maintain support-raised ministry partners and funding
• 5+ years of verifiable experience in Law Enforcement, Executive Protection, Intelligence
• Bachelor's Degree in related field, required
• Experience with intelligence, cybersecurity, conducting security assessments, planning, implementation, and crisis management within the context of an international non-governmental organization (NGO), required
• Assist personnel with domestic and international assignments
• Assist in developing and leading training for all operations (National & International)
• Represent Security and Crisis Management with the Crisis Management Team
• Tactical training and assignments
• International field experience
• Instructor experience preferred
• Must have an active passport or be able to receive one
• Must be willing to travel internationally including hostile locations
• Must be willing to work hours other than Mon-Fri 9-5 when needed
• Ability to raise personal support as well as develop and manage personal ministry budget
• Excellent understanding of international security trends
• Familiarity and experience with OSINT collection and vetting process
• Familiarity and experience with strategic analysis for executives
• Familiarity and experience with pre-travel briefings and trainings
• Familiarity and experience with check-ins, travel registrations, and biographical paperwork
