Global Travel Experience - Director
This role is an outstanding opportunity within GBT's Commercial organization, dedicated to the customer! They will be developing a valuable customer experience in a newly crafted approach for the company. This individual will build a strategy, which will require navigating across team members. Keys to success will be demonstrating how travel will benefit the company, travelers, and program.
They will take client strategies and drive the traveler experience to new industry levels, including design and support of new usage platform for the customer (i.e., specialty servicing desks), as well alignment to new OBT platform(s).
Today this customer is set for a high-focus, high-success transformation travel program vs a transactional travel program.
Responsibilities:

Develop strategic business plan, sales, and communications approach, along with the client program owners for Return to Travel.

Design client-facing material demonstrating the benefits of such a program.

Plan, lead and deploy the newly agreed travel program

Host regional round tables to ensure consensus, as well as leading session for travelers.

Identify strategies to drive GBT improvements of the servicing model to meet the customers’ needs in collaboration with all internal linkages (Client Management, Traveler Care, technology, etc.)

Validated and strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, including thinking “in an unexpected way” for solutions.

Validated ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Communication (Organizational Change) – Strong oral and written communications to present to different audiences in a clear and persuasive manner.
Requirements:

5+ years of senior management experience

Strategic and innovative problem solver; able to tackle sophisticated driven challenges

Strong ability to balance business goals against operational constraints and risk

Ability to champion a travel program to key client customers and influence the business through an effective organizational change process.

Tight-knit collaboration and relationship building skills in a fast-paced changing environment across multiple management levels

Demonstrable time, change management and organization skills

Travel industry experience preferred
Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $100,000 to $200,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for either our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance, or eligible for one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain sales roles only). An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period. This role is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
