Job description
TTM Healthcare Solutions are proud to partner with a leading healthcare organisation in Limerick to hire a Grade VII Financial Analyst for a 3month initial contract.
Monday to Friday, 35hour working week.

Duties:
  • To provide expert financial support within the department to support and enhance the delivery of the Governance Framework.
  • To provide financial management support for the systems and processes to ensure a robust control environment which is integrated with the financial management systems where appropriate.
  • To manage the finance inputs necessary to the Service Provider Governance (SPG) IT system in order to ensure that it is up to date, accurate, and reflects the totality of arrangements and funding to external agencies, and to also ensure that the funding is reconciled with the SAP financial system as appropriate.
  • To manage the receipt and review of Annual Financial Statements, Annual Financial Monitoring Returns, and documents relating thereto, for all funded agencies and ensure that this process is completed in line with the recommended timelines and good practice, and the system is updated in a timely manner.
  • To provide financial governance expertise for operational managers at all levels to assist them in meeting their requirement to manage the non-statutory sector and provide the maximum appropriate amount of safe services within the limits of the resources made available to them.
  • To monitor adherence to the relevant financial controls assurance processes within the CHO in accordance with the HSE Governance Framework.
  • To liaise with the HSE National Compliance Unit, as required, on the HSE Governance Framework.
  • To participate in professional networks and national fora to further develop the Framework.
  • To participate in all relevant engagements regarding the HSE Governance Framework, e.g. meetings, teleconferences, briefing sessions, etc.

Requirements:

  • Full current membership of a recognised or prescribed accountancy body such as ACCA, CPA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
  • A demonstrable record of achievement in a financial analysis/reporting role within a large complex organisation, encompassing direct engagement with and influencing of senior decision makers
  • A demonstrable record of achievement in the review and interpretation of accounts and the review and improvement of internal controls
  • Experience of working with and using IT systems and translating that usage into the production of management information
  • Possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.
