Purpose of the Post
- To provide business planning support to the Senior Management Team and Clinical Directorates at Naas General Hospital.
- To provide leadership and strive to improve unscheduled care, quality and performance.
- To develop and implement performance monitoring systems, maintaining key performance indicators against the actions set out by the HSE and provide formal reports to the Senior Hospital Management Team.
- To work closely with the Scheduled Care Manager to contribute to the provision of a seamless care pathway for patients.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must on the latest date for receipt of completed applications demonstrate experience as relevant to the role:
Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
a) Have experience of implementing and managing complex change and
quality improvement projects. And have extensive knowledge of
unscheduled care and patient flow demands in an acute healthcare
organisation.
And
b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.
Applicants must demonstrate all of the criteria listed below, as relevant to the role:
- Relevant experience of engaging with senior stakeholders and management as relevant to this role.
- Experience in the use of business intelligence tools to gather and analyse data along with the proven ability to produce professional documents and reports from the data collected.
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Post Specific Requirements:ยท
- Experience of implementing and managing complex change and quality improvement projects. And have extensive knowledge of unscheduled care and patient flow demands in an acute healthcare organisation.
- Experience of operational planning to administrate, manage and deliver a complex service, as relevant to this role.
- Experience of implementing and managing complex change and/or quality improvement projects, in a healthcare environment.
- Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to this role.
- Experience of data management in a research or operational context, including data collection, management and analysis.
Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
