Our client is a dynamic, highly sustainable & well-respected Nonprofit serving the San Francisco community for over 50 years. We seek a Grants Compliance Analyst, with strong knowledge in the full cycle of Grants Management, including risk & compliance. The idea candidate has solid knowledge in government & private donor funding, contract compliance & contract reporting, coordinating from start to finish a high volume of grant/funder reports for government, foundation, and corporate funders, including program compliance, analysis, and reporting.

This role will report to the Director of Risk Management and Compliance, in a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to manage high transactional volume from of grant/funder reports for government, foundation, and corporate funders as assigned.
  • Skilled in the management of data to complete reporting requirements, in addition to maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Developing reporting guides, and creating and tracking of contracts, subcontracts, MOUs, and other supporting grant documentation.
  • Support reporting process. working with data to complete reporting requirements.
  • Experience in creating and tracking of contracts, subcontracts, MOUs, and other supporting grant documentation.
  • Navigate funder databases for successful report completion.
  • Assist in the development and updating of program policies, procedures, and related forms, including notices internal & external stakeholders, such as outside agencies, community partners
  • Management of program contracts, MOUs, partnership agreements, renewals and amendments, and contractor invoices, meeting tight deadlines
  • Maintain a schedule and calendar of annual certifications/licenses due dates, financial reporting dates, and compliance reporting dates of all funding assigned.
  • Support leadership in managing grants and compliance projects, including reporting areas of deficiency.
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring the compliance of Organizational and Real Estate legal entities.
  • Ensuring communication with the Director of RMC on all benchmarks, due dates, reports, and or unanticipated situations that may arise.
  • Adhere to data privacy policies and comply with data protection regulations.
  • Research and maintain current knowledge and compliance of applicable federal, state, and local authority/laws as required for grants.
  • Support and interprets contract requirements to external collaborators.
  • Work with the Director of RMC in using data reports and information to monitor compliance and grants management for quality improvement.
  • Support the Director of RMC with accurate and timely information to lead monthly RMC meetings with senior MEDA and agency leadership staff on program performance.
  • Attend conferences and training sessions as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, or similar/ or 5+ years of work-related grant management and compliance for community based nonprofit teams
  • Knowledge & experience in government grant reporting, (City, County & State).
  • Experience with at least one of the following industry areas: Affordable Housing, Small business lending or (CDFI )Community Development Financial Institutions, or asset building programs
  • Early learning and/or K-12 education programs or Community development
  • Knowledge in program budgets and financial statements.
  • Proven track record in maintaining compliance regulations with federal agency designations such as IRS VITA Sites, HUD Housing Counseling Agencies, or DOL America's Job Centers.
  • Excellent business acumen, (verbal & written)
  • Strong project management skills, meeting tight deadlines for completion & tracking of grants, including collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task & prioritize, and capable of working independently or within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment that promotes compassion, service, and social justice for people of color
  • Systems experience: MS Office, Google Suite, V-comply, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce experience, or similar database system is a plus.
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
